FAQs

  • How old do I have to be to get a tattoo

We only tattoo 18 years or older. You must have a government-issued photo ID at your appointment, and you will lose your deposit if you are underage and will not be tattooed, regardless of parental permission. No excuses. No BUTs.

  • Can I get tattooed if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

You should not be pregnant or breastfeeding. We will not tattoo you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Does it hurt?

Every person has a different tolerance to pain. For some people, tattoos hurt more than others. Some areas may be more sensitive to tattooing. Our artists will ensure that you are as comfortable as possible. If you wish to use numbing cream, please let your artist know beforehand, as numbing cream can make your skin rubbery, sensitive and difficult to tattoo. Numbing cream can affect the tattoo.

  • Do you do cover-ups of old tattoos?

Yes. Although, it depends on the tattoo you want to cover up. There are lots of factors that need to be considered. Like how old the tattoo is, the skin texture, how dark the tattoo is, what part of the body it is, and what designs you want to use as the cover-up. Not all cover-ups will work, so it is best that come in for a free consultation to discuss the options. Sometimes, it is better to do some laser removal beforehand to lighten the tattoo. This will give you more design options.

  • Are touch-ups free?

Yes, we offer free touch-ups on all tattoos within 3 months, except we do not offer free touch-ups on the hands, fingers, feet and neck. If you want a touch-up after this timeframe, you will be required to pay a fee. If you do not follow the aftercare instructions and your tattoo has become infected or has not healed properly, we will not offer free touch-ups.

  • How much will a tattoo cost in your studio?

Prices vary depending on the design detail, where you want the tattoo, if you want colour or black n grey, and also depending on the artist. We can provide you with an estimate for a design or an area of the body. We have a shop minimum cost of $150.

  • Is your studio licensed?

Yes, we are a fully licensed studio, and all our artists are licensed tattoo artists. Licence # 011320

We are council approved, insured and adhere to NSW Government Health regulations.

  • Do you use new needles?

All the Artists use disposable needles, gloves, covers, grips, ink caps, paper towels and anything else that is used during the tattoo procedure.

  • Will you design a tattoo for me?

Generally, designs are done on the day of the appointment using any reference pictures you want to incorporate into your tattoo. We are a custom studio, so we will work to come up with a unique design for you. If you want a design done beforehand, it is an extra cost.

  • Where can I find some more tattoo ideas?

A good place to find inspiration is Pinterest and Google Images. Even if you don’t find something exactly like you want, we will work with your ideas and come up with something that you will love.

  • How long will the tattoo take?

The amount of time will depend on how big and detailed the design is and where on your body you are having the tattoo done. Some areas of the body take longer to tattoo. We say it will be a minimum of half an hour but can take several day sessions to complete if you get large designs.
